wood

most people mix between the plywood and hardboard and MDF,
hardboard is the worse type of wood to be used in furniture, from expirince i can say it wont last more than 3-4 months, u can use screw in it.
before baying any peace of furniture check the drawers, and ,shelfs.
where most manufacturers use it there.

mdf or "medium density wood" is much better nd reliple, the wood fiber is much smaller and when u cut it o cannot see any gaps, un like the hardboard
and the HDF is much better, but i didnt see any ` use it in kuwait

we used MDF alot for installation we did for exhibitions.. it has a beautiful section, therefore we use it sometimes for topography models for our building models..

I love to play with MDF in this sense: I cut a piece in different widths but not alot different;i.e. 0.5cm difference in hight between one and another and then with the use of 9arookh you kan make a beautiful curve, you can do a sculpture of an MDF piece!

the only problem with MDF is that it is ruined when exposed to water because feeh masamat..

layering is the fun way when dealing with MDF :)

but the plywood has another strategy and needs a different process to understand its beauty, because it is already layered, so i think gradually pealing of plywood's layers would be a nice start to understand it ;p

you opened such a big door, endless!
wood wa ma adrak mal wood :D
